Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup Nutella
  • 2 tablespoons 15 g flour of your choice

Instructions

  • Grab your favorite mug. It should hold at least 8 oz. (240 ml) of liquid.
  • Whisk one egg in the mug until mostly smooth. Stir or whisk in the Nutella (or other spread or nut butter), followed by your choice of flour.
  • Microwave the mug cake for 60 - 90 seconds (1 - 1 ½ minutes). The mixture should puff up and resemble cake.
  • If there is any liquid at the bottom or the cake seems underbaked, heat in additional 15-second increments until the cake is to your desired consistency.
  • Top with more Nutella, scoop, and enjoy!
