- 3 1/2 cups 420g all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 3/4 cup 180ml warm milk
- 1/4 cup 60ml warm water
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- Optional: Sesame or poppy seeds for topping
Combine warm milk, water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until frothy.
Mix flour, salt, yeast mixture, egg, and butter. Knead until smooth.
Let dough rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled in size.
Divide into 8 pieces, shape into buns, and let rise again (30–45 mins).
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes. Cool and serve.
