- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tsp ginger grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch optional
- Green onion and sesame seeds for garnish
- Rice optional
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat, add chicken, and cook until golden brown.
Pour sauce into the skillet and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and coated in sauce.
Optionally, thicken sauce with cornstarch.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
